As discussed at our Spring Conference, we have been working to secure an opportunity for county treasurers to have some one-on-one time with the two candidates for Ohio State Treasurer.  On September 11th, we have both Rep. Robert Sprague (10:30am) and Rob Richardson (12:30pm) coming to our special CTAO meeting at the Quest Conference Center in Columbus.  Both candidates will make a presentation about themselves and their plans for the state treasurers office, and then each of you will have an opportunity to ask them questions, express concerns you have with current operations and/or issues related to the state treasurers office, or discuss issues you’d like for them to consider. The purpose of this meeting is to establish a dialogue with both candidates so that whoever wins in November will be ready to move forward, in partnership with the CTAO.  

Lunch will be provided, and we’ll also have a brief Legislative Committee meeting to update everyone on where our various bills of interest are now that the General Assembly is in Summer Recess.
