The Ohio Council of County Officials' Legislative Reception has been set for April 19th from 5-7pm in the Statehouse Atrium. We are hoping we can get a good turnout of county treasurers this year as, unfortunately, in years past, we’ve only had a handful show up. Other county officials groups usually have anywhere from a dozen to 30+ members (Sheriffs) present. We wanted to take this opportunity to remind treasurers that this is a good opportunity to talk with, not only House & Senate members who show up, but other county officials.

 

If you are able to attend, it would be helpful if you would contact your House and Senate members to let them know that you will be there. There's no better way to ensure state legislators will show up to a reception than knowing their constituents (in this case, county officials) will be there.  So please make an effort to join OCCO on April 19th.  There’s always plenty of good food and drinks, and great camaraderie!!
