My county is having an internal dialogue concerning who should request ARPA funding through the US Treasury Portal and ID. Me i.e. Chief County Administrator, Commissioners, Utility Director, Auditor, Treasurer, etc.
My question is — what have other counties done or plan to do with respect to who applies, who reports, who is the authorized representative? Any thought would be appreciated. Thanks.

Todd, our auditor decided to take the lead to apply for and request ARPA funds. I thanked her from the bottom of my heart. :-)

We still have no one willing to do this and are looking for a resolution. I personally am not willing as they are looking for additional items that even the banks do not have on file. I do already have identity theft protection, but am not willing to put my personal info out there any more than it already is.

Todd, Same discussion has been held here in Auglaize County. Our County Administrator is going to complete the info. If for some reason she doesn't qualify, then I will submit my info as Treasurer since I am already in the Fed system when large cash deposits are made to our checking account.. My SS # is on record.
