Managing Multi-Staff Cash Drawers

I received a request from a local subdivision today for model policy language on managing multi-staff cash drawers. The concern is primarily what to do when a drawer is short (i.e. an incorrect change issue), and safeguards for managing that situation generally. We don't have anything written here. Do any of you have something I might be able to share?
