Question for AutoAgent Users

To County Treasurers using AutoAgent for escrow — Have you rejected CoreLogic's request for a separate file upload? If so, did CoreLogic continue to pay through AutoAgent, and were there any other consequences?

We have been business as usual with CoreLogic paying through AutoAgent. I really can't see them leaving and the few counties that did not use AutoAgent said the work was 2x as laboring. Have a good weekend.

Nancy. Yes, I rejected sending a separate file to CoreLogic. The said they wanted to send their pre-commitment file directly to me. After they received my response, they sent the pre-commitment file via Autoagent. They did not reply to my email. I do not have a problem sharing my response to CoreLogic with you should you be interested.

No, I did not reject the initiative outright and I'm giving CoreLogic the opportunity to send the payments directly to Cuyahoga County, provided there is no change to our operation. I'll keep you posted.

I spoke directly with Karen Lyons and told her I was happy with using AutoAgent and explained the problems that we had with them in the past. She could not guaranty that those problems would not still exist. So, I told her that I was not interested.

Hi Nancy. We told CoreLogic that we require all lenders to submit their pre-commitment and payment files through AutoAgent. They have agreed to this requirement and we have not had any issues with them.

We are allowing the data extracts for Corelogic. I told them that we would do this on a trial basis and discontinue should issues arise. The first half was our first attempt and it went well.

Nancy, I have been with Autoagent for years. This past collection Corelogic, Karen Lyons, approached me to work with them directly. I was hesitant but they assured me that there would be no problems. We set up nightly uploads of our tax file to them. It didn't seem to be enough. We had refunds, we had parcels coded Corelogic go unpaid. I told Karen that I will not continue the nightly upload. They will get a one time file from us for second half and starting next years collection, they will have to go back to Autoagent. They don't like this but I am in the driver seat. Not them.
