Just the Basics: Records Management for Local Government
The County Commissioners Association of Ohio is hosting the following webinar. It is free and open to all county officials and staff.
Records management is an important, but sometimes overlooked part of county government. This one hour training will provide you with the basic knowledge and tools you need to make your records retention policies less stressful and more meaningful. Jen Haney Conover, the Warren County Director of Records Management/CARMA Chair will go over local government regulations for retention and the disposal for the state of Ohio, format and storage concerns and the importance of setting up these and other policies, including social media, email and electronic records.
